Emsleys highly commended at Law Society Excellence Awards
Leeds-based law firm Emsleys is celebrating after being highly commended at the prestigious national Law Society Excellence Awards on Tuesday night (22nd October).
The awards, which this year received a record number of entries, recognise excellence in the legal industry and Emsleys has been highly commended for its new-to-market service Review My Claim, which launched earlier this year to help accident victims.
Speaking of the achievement, Andrew Greenwood, partner and personal injury law expert at Emsleys, said: “We’re delighted to have been highly commended for Review My Claim; it is something that is very close to my heart as it was launched out of my disappointment at poor standards in certain parts of the personal injury industry.
“We estimate that approximately 50,000 claims are mishandled each year - and I’m delighted to say that, six months after launching, uptake of the free independent service is higher than any of us anticipated.”
