Natalie Marrison, a solicitor specialising in physical and sexual abuse cases, is requesting information regarding the abuse that took place at Brantridge School, Sussex in the 1990s.
In April 2017, ex-care worker Robin Carter was convicted of a series of sexual offences against three young vulnerable boys aged between 10 and 12. He was sentenced to nine years imprisonment and will be a registered sex offender for life. He was also given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), which will restrict his access to boys.
The abuse took place at the boarding school Ditton Place in Staplefield, formerly a part of Brantridge School, which closed in 2002. The school specialised in educating pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Investigations by the police started in 2014 when a witness came forward, and since then further ex-pupils have offered more information.Back to Blog
