Personal Injury Case Study - Fatal Accident
Case:
Emsleys acted on behalf of the widow of a van driver who was killed as a result of a collision on the A1.
How we helped:
Close forensic examination of the van showed that the van had been clipped on its offside by an overtaking van, causing the deceased to lose control of his own vehicle, which subsequently crashed into a lorry.
Conclusion:
The overtaking van driver was never traced, and consequently, a claim under the Untraced Drivers’ Agreement was brought against the MIB with the case settling for a little under £500,000.00.
