Personal Injury Case Study - Accident on the Road
Case:
Emsleys acted for Mrs M of West Yorkshire, a pedestrian who was hit by an on-coming car as she attempted to cross the road. Mrs M, who was 76 at the time of her accident, sustained a broken collarbone, a broken leg and lacerations to her head.
How we helped:
Although liability was admitted by the motorist’s insurers, the case was brought to Court because the insurers were offering an inadequate amount to compensate Mrs M for her injuries.
Conclusion:
The case settled just before trial for £52,500.00.
