Personal Injury Case Study - Catastrophic Injury
Case:
Emsleys acted for a little girl who had been rendered tetraplegic as a result of a tragic accident. The case was initially dealt with by a firm of solicitors in the South, even though the little girl was based in West Yorkshire. Dissatisfied with the service and advice that they were receiving, the girl’s family turned to Emsleys.
How we helped:
Andrew took over conduct of the case, and promptly secured an interim payment of £600,000 initially to enable an appropriate property to be bought for the little girl and so that adaptations to the new home to make life more bearable and more comfortable for her and her family could be undertaken.
Conclusion:
The case eventually settled for a little under three million pounds.
