Congratulations to our very own Rachel Sharp who was shortlisted for the Business in the Community 'Yorkshire Business Champion' Award at last nights BITC awards ceremony at Elland Road.
Rachel joined Emsleys as a Trainee in 2013. Along with her intense training to become a qualified Solicitor, Rachel has been a leading individual within the firm who not only strives to go above and beyond, but has been instrumental in integrating responsible business and volunteering throughout.
Rachel has been at the forefront of a number of projects including; Right to Read, Give & Gain, the Enterprise Challenge and even helped source projects in Hull.
A warm, passionate and friendly colleague, Rachel can always be found giving 100% at any task - whether it's dropping toy collections off at a local charity and taking the team to learn more about what they do, to inspiring school children with her work ethic and determination. Her enthusiasm towards helping others encourage many colleagues in the firm to follow suit.
Director Alistair McKinlay added: “Rachel is a real credit to the firm and she has set a great example of what it takes to effectively manage your workload and be able to give 100% to any other project at the same time. Her kindness, enthusiasm and commitment are continually recognised both within and outside our business, and we’re certainly starting to see an uplift in engagement from colleagues following in her footsteps.”
Well done Rachel!
