About Chris
Chris has dedicated over 30 years to the Wills and Probate sector, bringing a wealth of experience from both the public and private spheres. He began his career at the Leeds District Probate Registry before moving into private practice with Lister Croft Partnership in Wakefield. It was here that Chris became a digital pioneer, leading the development of the UK’s first online probate service.
Following his time in Wakefield, Chris joined Elmhirst Parker LLP in Selby, where he further broadened his expertise to include the complexities of agricultural estate administration. Over three decades, Chris has become a trusted advisor to private clients and major institutions alike. His corporate portfolio includes advising on Trustee cases for the likes of Skipton Trustees, ABRDN, and 1825, alongside providing specialist probate consultancy for Jonathan Lee Consultancy and Grafton Research.
