Emsleys Solicitors expands its legal support function

Following a period of growth, Emsleys Solicitors has appointed two new members of staff to its legal support team to be based at the firm’s new head office in Colton, Leeds. Brian Godfrey joins as Head of Finance and Anna Hinchcliffe as Marketing Executive.

Brian brings over 10 years’ experience in accountancy, and joins from Addleshaw Goddard LLP where he was a Group Financial Accountant. Prior to this, he was based in London, where he specialised in accountancy and audit in public practice at businesses including BDO.

Anna, a graduate in Linguistics with German, joins the Marketing team from the Press Association where she was as a Content Producer.

Brian said: “I’m really pleased to join Emsleys at this key time in its development. The firm prides itself on the quality of service it delivers to its clients and its connection with the local community. It has underpinned its recent growth on the back of a solid financial performance, despite the recent challenging economic climate. The future looks very promising for the business and its recent move to new larger offices, along with a number of new appointments, will only strengthen it moving forward.”

Anna added: “I’m really looking forward to taking on the new and diverse range of marketing activities across Emsleys’ various brands and getting involved with the extensive community volunteering opportunities on offer to employees at the firm.”
