Emsleys sponsors the Leeds Pride 2016 Parkrun

Last weekend Family Law solicitor and mediator, Andrew Smith, went for a run with the Leeds Frontrunners in Roundhay Park.

The Frontrunners in their own words are “an all-inclusive club, welcoming anyone who identifies as LGBT*, their friends and even people who just love running and are happy to look beyond labels.”

To coincide with the 10th anniversary of Leeds Pride celebrations this year, the Frontrunners have arranged a takeover of the Woodhouse Moor Parkrun in Leeds and are hosting the very first Pride Parkrun on Saturday 6th August.

As part of Emsleys’ continued support to the LGBT community, we are very proud to be sponsoring the Frontrunners on this special occasion.

The Pride Parkrun is a ground-breaking event in Leeds and the Frontrunners are expecting hundreds to attend as part of their weekly exercise fix in addition to showing their solidarity with all those who identify as LGBT*.

Parkrun is a nationwide, 5km race held every Saturday morning at various locations across the country, which are completely free. On this momentous event in August there will be special keepsakes for the runners which will help to mark the occasion.

You can visit the Leeds Frontrunners website for more details and follow them on Twitter @LFrontrunners.

Don’t forget to follow @EmsleysLGBT for further information on legal issues for same sex families, the LGBT community and more.
