Emsleys supports progressive ‘returnship’ programme Law Returners

We’re delighted to be supporting a pilot project aiming to encourage legal professionals to return to work after a career break.

Women Returners is partnering with the UK Government, The Law Society and 18 Leeds and Manchester based firms including Emsleys Solicitors to provide Law Returners, a new 6-month paid ‘returnship’. The scheme is designed to appeal to both men and women.

Starting in February 2019, the programme will offer coaching from Women Returners, peer support, internal mentoring, and technical support from The Law Society. Successful candidates will refresh their skills and experience as part of the professional placement.
