For years, we have admired the extraordinary, life-changing work done by Martin House. They provide vital care, comfort, and support to children and young people with life-shortening conditions, as well as their families. When the opportunity arose to support this landmark event, with the ambitious goal of helping the hospice raise a record amount of funding, we knew instantly we wanted to be part of the magic.
Step into the Light: What to Expect
On Saturday, 14th November 2026, Stables Lane Park in Boston Spa will transform into an enchanting wonderland of twinkling lanterns and unforgettable family adventure.
The adventure kicks off at the Glow Marquee! Warm your hands with hot drinks, grab a bite to eat, and get involved in some fundraising fun. From there, a lantern parade through the park leads everyone on a glow walk through the sparkling streets of Boston Spa. Keep an eye out for beloved mascot Marty Bear along the way, who will be waiting with a special message to carry to Martin House! With lights, laughter, and festive surprises around every corner, plus a fully pushchair and wheelchair-friendly route, it’s an adventure the whole family can enjoy.
As part of this years’ experience, we are especially thrilled to sponsor our very own Martin House Shop Glow Point! Right at the heart of the Boston Spa High Street, our shop will be transformed into a glowing beacon for walkers, where the fantastic team will be waiting to welcome participants and share in the cheers before walkers continue on their sparkling journey. Finally, everyone will return to Stables Lane Park for a special and spectacular surprise!

Sponsoring a Glow Point is much more than a partnership, it’s a unique opportunity to connect face-to-face with our wonderful local community. Bringing together around 250 passionate attendees from across North, West, and East Yorkshire, events like these are a lifeline.
